What Drawline keeps, and what it does with it. All of it.
About the business
The owner's email address, the business's name, a scrambled form of the password, whether you subscribe and to which plan, and the details you put on your paperwork: address, phone, license number, who signs and their title, and your logo if you add one. Payments are handled by Stripe, which holds your card details; JTS never sees them.
About your team
Each person's email address, their name if they give one, and a scrambled form of their password. An invite link is kept only in a scrambled form, and stops working once it is used.
Your jobs and your money
What you put in: your GCs and their contacts, your jobs and their owners, schedules of values, change orders, pay applications, payments, backcharges, lien waivers, and a record of who changed what. It is kept on JTS's server so you and your team can work in it. It is never sold, shared, or used to learn anything.
Files you upload (suppliers' invoices, signed waivers, a GC's forms) are kept until you delete them, or until two years after the job they are on is marked done. Keep your own copies of anything you must keep longer.
When you email a pay application or a letter from Drawline, it goes from drawline@jtsapps.com to the addresses you type, with your own address to reply to, and you get a copy. Drawline records who it went to and whether it went. Drawline also emails the owner reminders: a pay application coming due, a payment that is late, retainage to ask for. Settings turns the due-date reminders off.
What JTS does not do
No ads, no trackers, no analytics, and nothing about your business, your jobs or your customers goes to anybody else.
Taking it with you, or deleting it
Settings has "Export everything", which downloads all of it: every record as a spreadsheet, every pay application as a PDF, and every file. Settings also has "Delete my account", which deletes all of it for good.
One thing to know about the public pages
The pages anybody can open (this one, the front page, signing in) load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google sees that your browser asked for them. Every page inside Drawline loads nothing from anybody but this site.
